Private lessons
My teaching emphasizes enjoyment, self-empowerment, and solid technical/musical foundation. In trumpet lessons we will cover everything from basic setting, diaphragmatic breathing and instrument technique to elements of expression and refinement of the repertoire. If you like to learn or deepen your understanding of music theory, classical or jazz harmony and improvisation, I can tailor lessons for any instrument.
Lessons will be personalized to your individual goals, and are suitable for students of any age, starting from 5 years old.
Lessons will be held in English or Italian, at your home, online or at my studio in Kreuzberg.
Music for the little ones
Playing, listening, singing and feeling free to explore are some of the key ingredients for learning music naturally, just like a native language. This approach is supported by the development of Audiation: the ability to think and perceive music that is no longer physically present. Audiation is to music what thought is to language.
According to the Music Learning theory of E. E. Gordon, the courses aim to guide the child in the development of his musicality, intonation and sense of rhythm, through play, movement and the expression and exploration of his creativity. Parents will also learn songs and activities that they can do at home with their children helping to create a nurturing space for musical creativity and discovery.
